Class Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements:

• Admission Requirements:
  
• Applicant must be 18 years or older
  
• Applicant must be a resident of California
  
• Applicant must be able to read at 8th grade level (§73220)
  
• Applicant must fill out written application and provide proof of age, residence and income
  
• Applicant must take an assessment exam to rate their knowledge and learning aptitude
  (** minimum score must be top 60 percentile**)
  
• Applicant must provide a 250 word essay.

  Describe the level of commitment you are willing to make to complete the following:

• Completing the course
  
• Passing the Certification
  
• Gainful employment in the IT field

Please explain your willingness to commit to the training and job readiness expectation requirements to be successful in the IT field. This all will be further explained during your appointment.
